McCormick Foundation, Illinois Answers Project, Better Government Association, National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers, ESPN, Northwestern University, and Red Ventures. His work spans sectors but consistently centers on creating accessible, human-centered digital experiences.
At MG Strategy + Design, Kurt has guided the development of immersive websites and tools for mission-driven organizations across the country. He served as digital lead for the much-heralded website redesign for The Onion, helping to modernize and optimize the site for a new generation of readers while preserving its iconic identity.
Recent projects include the redesign of the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation website and a complete overhaul of the Illinois Answers Project’s digital platform, a cornerstone for investigative and solutions journalism in Illinois. He also led the website redesign for Dare2tri, a nonprofit dedicated to adaptive sports, which helped the organization raise $200,000 in a single giving day and has continued to increase conversions and search visibility.
